Mental Illness Awareness and Support Association (MIASA)

The objective of MIASA is to promote awareness on the importance of mental health and mental health issues and provide support for patients and carers through our various programs and support initiatives. Being patient-initiated, MIASA has a strong foundation and also purpose. It provides a holistic solution, not only from the medical perspective but also that of spiritual.

Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA)

The Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA) is a non-profit voluntary organisation managed by an elected committee of interested persons and professionals in the community. MMHA was formed in 1967 by a group of mental health professionals and community leaders from University Hospital MMHA was officially registered under the Societies Act 1966 on 30th July 1968. It is a community based NGO operating solely on public donations and a small annual grant from the Department of Social Welfare.
